The Dinosaur Discovery Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin is the only museum to exclusively focus on the link between birds and meat-eating dinosaurs, one of the most complete known fossil records. There are more theropod, meat-eating dinosaurs in the Museum's exhibit than in any other major museum in N

🦖 Fun Fossil Fact Friday!

One of the most famous dinosaur silhouettes in pop culture was inspired by a real fossil! The Jurassic Park logo was based on AMNH 5027, a Tyrannosaurus rex specimen at the American Museum of Natural History. Even a distinctive bump on the skull made its way into the iconic design.

FYI for your Museum weekend plans!

Come show off your classic car this Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Kenosha Classic Cruise-In!

More than 1,500 classic cars are expected to be on display throughout the heart of downtown for the 23rd annual Kenosha Classic Cruise-in, sponsored by Kenosha Classic Street Machines and the City of Kenosha. The free, family friendly event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Beginning at 6 a.m., traffic will be directed one way eastbound on 56th Street, beginning at Third Ave., proceeding counter-clockwise around Calabria Way, and westbound only on 54th Street from Calabria Way to Sixth Ave.
