๐Ÿ‘ฃ Cryptid Wednesday: The Beast of Bray Road ๐ŸŒ•

Wisconsin's own Beast of Bray Road is one of the state's most famous cryptids. Often described as a large, wolf-like creature that walks on two legs, it has been reportedly spotted along a rural road near Elkhorn since the 1930s.

Witnesses have described glowing eyes, shaggy fur, and an eerie ability to disappear into the darkness just as quickly as it appears. Is it an undiscovered animal, a case of mistaken identity, or simply a legend that has grown over time? No one knows for sure, but it has become a fascinating part of Wisconsin folklore. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿบ

The Public Museum Fountain has been a cherished feature of the park for many years. However, after decades of service, the fountain has reached the end of its operational lifespan.

Due to the extensive repairs required to keep it operational, the fountain will be retired this year. A replacement fountain is currently included in the city's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and is scheduled for installation in 2028.

In the meantime, Parks Department crews will transform the existing fountain basin into a seasonal flower bed, adding vibrant color and beauty to the park while plans for the future fountain move forward.
