This is what community partnership looks like. 🇺🇸🍻

A huge thank you to Faye and our friends at No Label Brewing for creating this incredible custom-framed display featuring the Governor’s official recognition alongside the America 250 artwork.

This piece will soon have a permanent home on the wall at VFW Post 9182, and to us, it represents much more than a proclamation or a piece of artwork. It represents what can happen when veterans, local businesses, and communities come together around a shared mission.

When we started working with No Label on the America 250 Craft Brewing Collaboration, the vision was bigger than Katy and bigger than any one VFW Post or brewery. We wanted to create something that could bring communities together across Texas and eventually across the country as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Faye, thank you for taking the time to create something that our Post will be proud to display for years to come. Your creativity and heart for this project mean more to us than you know.

And to No Label Brewing, thank you for continuing to stand beside our veterans and VFW Post 9182. What started as a partnership has grown into something much bigger, and I’m excited to see where we take it next.

Now we want other VFW Posts, breweries, and veteran organizations to join us.

There comes a time when every Veteran needs more than a place to go, they need a place to belong.
A place where the stories don't need explaining. Where the handshakes means, "I'm glad you're here." Where fellow comrades welcome you, encourage you, and remind you that your service still matters.
No one who had worn the uniform should ever feel forgotten or alone. Whether you're looking for friendship, purpose, laughter, or simply someone who understands, there is a seat waiting for you.

Join Us in Continuing the Mission

Service comes in many forms, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

You don't have to wear a uniform to serve those who have. Service can be as simple as helping prepare the Post for a meeting, sharing a meal with fellow members, volunteering at a youth event, visiting a veteran in a nursing home or hospital, making a phone call to check on someone, or simply sitting down to listen. These moments of compassion are what strengthen our veteran community.

For many of us, supporting veterans is deeply personal. Our families have served across generations, protecting the freedoms we enjoy today. One of the greatest ways we can honor that legacy is by continuing to serve those who have sacrificed so much.

The VFW Auxiliary offers countless opportunities to make a meaningful impact through veteran support, youth activities, community outreach, scholarships, patriotism, and family programs. Whether you have a few hours each month or want to become actively involved, there is a place for you here.

You don't need special skills—just a caring heart and a willingness to help. Your smile, your time, and your compassion could make all the difference in someone's day.
