An evening of art, storytelling, and community.

We were honored to gather at Shady Canyon Golf Club to celebrate the artists featured in Color, Culture, Continuum: An Asian American Mosaic, our inaugural juried photography exhibition.

Through photography, community, and conversation, the evening highlighted the many voices that make up our collective story while offering a glimpse into the future Asian American Museum at Great Park - a place where history, culture, and identity can be preserved, shared, and celebrated for generations to come.

Thank you to the photographers, jurors, supporters, and guests who joined us for this special evening. We are proud to celebrate the artists whose work helped bring this vision to life.

As AAPI Heritage Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the stories shared, the conversations sparked, and the communities brought together throughout May.

From national organizations elevating Asian American and Pacific Islander voices on a broader stage, to local efforts preserving culture, advancing education, and creating spaces for belonging, this month reminds us that representation and storytelling matter.

At the Asian American Museum at Great Park, we celebrate through programs like An Asian American Mosaic photography exhibition and Rooted in Flavor culinary series, experiences that highlighted the diversity and interconnectedness of Asian American stories.

We remain committed to uplifting voices, fostering dialogue, preserving history, and helping build a future where everyone feels seen, valued, and a sense of belonging.

Thank you for being part of this growing community - this month and all year long. ✨
