Cornfed and Q***r, by kate (lux) , opening is tonight from 6-9pm. The works on display are bright, vulnerable works speaking to Kate’s upbringing in a rural community and how it influences and speaks to their q***r and artistic identity. Upcoming events for August! It might not look like it, but we’ve got a busy month ahead! kate (lux) is kicking us off this Thursday with Cornfed & Q***r, their solo exhibition up through August 14th. After, we’ve got the silliest show in town on August 18th! Grass party is happening again August 19th, we have a couple classes happening at patina, our talent show, and yoga in the yard, followed by our patch and paint party! July’s donation roundup! We had two shows this month, and a couple events that folks donated to the cash box during. A couple monthly donors upped their memberships, and a few folks subscribed! We have 28 monthly donors subscriptions as of today. Grateful for any support that comes our way as we work to make patina a self sustained gallery. Right now, this is generally covering food costs for gallery events. If you’d like to make a one time donation or join as a member, you can do so by going to our website and finding the Support page!

We’re not gonna let the rain get us down! Making the call to move my vendors indoors for our Groovy Cat Market Saturday! If it doesn’t rain, we’ll let vendors choose where they want to set up on the Alley Cat side, but it’s best to have a plan ready to go! I know you guys will come through regardless. With ice cream from 𝑳𝑰𝑪𝑲 𝑰𝑪𝑬 𝑪𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑴 , canned cocktails from Shake Up Cocktails and Marlena 🌞🌺 as our DJ, why would you even want to miss it?

Now for the guilt trip to really seal the deal. Groovy Greenhouse Studio and I have been working so hard on this event, and after having to reschedule the original market date, it’s a real bummer honestly to see rain on the forecast again. Please don’t let our hard work be for nothing, and please come support this amazing event and all our vendors!

We’ll have a parking lot dedicated to our car friends, located just across the street in the empty lot, this time so that we aren’t taking too much of our neighbors street parking with the overwhelming amount of visitors that I know will come by! 🤗

We are surrounded by so much TALENT in Indianapolis! So, we’re putting together a talent show to celebrate the closing of Silly Show! On August 29th, only the most talented and bravest of souls will compete for several titles of talent. The show will be hosted by TUBBLES ‘s Gwenth and Sliv! We hosted our first meet and greet with artists participating in our upcoming event, By the Hand. 20 2D artists and 20 ceramic artists have been paired together to collaborate on a dinner plate, that will then be sold alongside tickets to a dinner prepared by chefandytipton on November 19th. We can’t wait to see what these artists create together!
