From America’s first satellite, Saturn I, to next-generation space vehicles like NASA’s Space Launch System, the museum showcases the past, present and future of human spaceflight. The USSRC is more than just artifacts! Experience the physics of astronaut training like never before in simulators such as Moon Shot and G-Force Fly through the universe in the INTUITIVE®Planetarium, an 8K digital planetarium and digital dome experience, the only one of its kind in the Southeast. You can also watch exciting documentary films in the National Geographic Theater and see live science demonstrations in the Discovery Theater. Space & Rocket Center® is NASA Marshall Space Flight Center’s Official Visitor Center, a visitor center for the Tennessee Valley Authority and is a Smithsonian Affiliate museum.
