So go ahead - touch, climb, pull, explore! Children between the ages of 2 and 9 will have the most fun at the museum. Toddlers enjoy Biscuit’s Backyard, a touch-and-learn area designated for preschoolers. Even a 10 or 11 year old can have fun, especially if a younger sibling is along. Without a younger companion, most kids 10 and up will prefer the Huntsville Historic Depot and Museum or Constitution Hall Park and Museum.

In a continuing effort to better serve our community, Sensory Sundays are now 9am-11am on the third Sunday of the month. This timeframe will allow us to exclusively focus on a more sensory friendly museum experience.

DURING YOUR VISIT, YOU CAN EXPECT:
– Reduced crowds, lighting, and sounds
– Sensory kits to help you navigate potentially over-stimulating exhibits
– Dedicated quiet places

TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE: Sensory Sunday is included in general admission, free to members, and all discounts apply.
