4-Stakes Horseshoes

Congratulations to sisters, Maria McIntyre and Tanya Coile, for pitching well in the Cajun Hi-Lo Doubles on the Bayou. After round robin play, Maria and her partner and Tanya and her partner both had a tied record on wins and losses. After a playoff game, Tanya and Bill defeated Maria and Mack to take 1st place and the gator trophy. Good pitching, girls!

We’re looking forward to the Jimmy Coile Memorial Tournament and seeing everyone tomorrow! Jeff, David, and Tanya have worked hard getting the courts ready for all to enjoy. (Jimmy used to do all of that work by himself 😳…..see last pic! ❤️)

See you all tomorrow!!

See below for the schedule for the Jimmy Coile Memorial Horseshoe Tournament Saturday. 1st round pitchers must check in no later than 9:30 am. 2nd round pitchers must check in by 12:30 pm.

We will need scorekeepers both rounds, so we will greatly appreciate it if 2nd round pitchers come early and help us out keeping score. Likewise, we will be very appreciative if 1st round pitchers will stick around and help keep score the second round. Just plan on making a day of it…..horseshoes, fellowship, and fun! 😊

We will have hotdogs, chips, drinks, and brownies available for purchase.

If you purchased a 2026 state singles shirt, we will be giving those out for Perry Saturday.

If you have any questions, contact Jeff at 706-207-9831.

We look forward to seeing everyone Saturday!

Please be in prayer for the family of Ernest Decker. He died this morning after suffering a stroke a couple of weeks ago.

He pitched with 4-Stakes a good many years and was a member of the Georgia Horseshoe Pitchers Association. Everyone who remembers him certainly remembers his sense of humor. He was a lot of fun to be around.
