Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the 2026 interns from Lime Rock Resources to the Ocean Star Museum & Education Center for a guided tour.

For interns and young professionals, experiences like these help bridge the gap between the university classroom and the workplace, providing real-world context for the technologies, careers, and history that continues to shape the energy industry.

Whether you're planning a family outing, looking for a rainy-day activity, or organizing a corporate visit with your team, the Ocean Star Museum offers an engaging way to explore the world of energy aboard a retired jack-up drilling rig.

All you need is a paper towel roll, some string, wooden dowels, straws, tape, cardboard, and post-it notes!
