The "Little Blue Dot" is a blog about the works of art, residing at (or visiting) the Museum of Fine This blog was created out of my love of Art History.

The "Little Blue Dot" is a blog about the works of art, residing at (or visiting) the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Also, there will be writings on pieces displayed within traveling, shared exhibitions that were created with other museums. The blog gets its name from the small, brightly colored sticker that visitors must wear while visiting the museum's two-building campus. All blog entries have b

een thoroughly researched at the Hirsch Library, the Museum's campus-based library dedicated to the field of Art History & Conservation Research. Other resources will be used in conjunction with the research obtained at the Hirsch Library; i.e. official museum information, books, periodicals (magazines, newspapers & industry journals) & reputable websites. Also, each posting has, at least, one photograph of the work being written about; as well as, photographs of other works that are mentioned. Also, it was created to share the wonderful place that is the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston & to share the stories behind the works housed there.
