This week! In this installment of “Collection Chats,” take a look behind the scenes with a tour of the Holter’s vault! The vault stores the majority of the 1,700 artworks in the Holter’s collection. Executive Director Christina Barbachano and Registrar Hannah Harvey will speak about some selected artworks, and will answer questions about our permanent collection. Don’t miss this opportunity to peek behind the curtain and learn more about the treasures of the Holter!

What a spectacular night under the big top!

Because of this incredible community, the Holter Museum of Art’s 2026 Annual Gala & Art Auction — Le Cirque — raised an astounding $117,313 through sponsorships, auction sales, donations, and gala activities!

Some highlights from the evening:
-- $26,260 raised through live and silent auction sales
-- $41,700 contributed through generous gala sponsorships and in-kind services
-- We met our $22,000 Raise the Roof Call for Cash match!
-- Over $2,000 raised for the Gretchen Hibbard Education Scholarship Program
-- 42 artists and 46 businesses donated auction items and experiences
-- 37 incredible volunteers contributed more than 200 hours to help bring the evening to life

What a night!

From all of us at the Holter Museum of Art, thank you to everyone who joined us for Le Cirque — our Annual Gala & Art Auction.

Together, we celebrated art, imagination, creativity, and community in truly spectacular fashion. From the performances and ambiance to the auction, laughter, and dancing, the evening was filled with magic from start to finish.

To our guests, sponsors, donors, artists, volunteers, performers, and community partners: thank you for making this event possible. Your support helps the Holter continue to provide exhibitions, arts education, Healing Arts programming, and meaningful creative experiences for our community throughout the year.

We are so grateful to call Helena home and to be surrounded by such an incredible community of supporters.

The tent may be coming down, but the magic continues at the Holter. Come in an see our wonderful exhibitions that we currently have on display!
