Will Christman joined our apprenticeship program in 2020 and graduated from Hamden Hall in 2024. He is currently a rising junior at Boston University, where he studies mechanical engineering.

This summer, Will is working in our Workshop, focusing on project design and manufacturing. For our Automaton camp this week, he designed and produced the Dragon Automaton (first slide) using Rhino 3D modeling software and laser cutting.

Yesterday, our First Circuits camp took a field trip to the Lighthouse Point Park Carousel House 🎠 to see what they’ve been building in action!

Thanks to the 2 amazing engineers, Edwin Martinez and Bradley Dobbins, our campers were able to ride the carousel and learn the mechanisms behind how it works.
Another special thanks to Sabrina Bruno for coordinating this trip and sharing the history of the carousel.
