A look back at October 1971!

Lincoln Heafield and Melanie Gibson are pictured checking out books from Mrs. Henry Foucher at the Maple Avenue Elementary School library. Mrs. Foucher was a member of the Goffstown Mothers Club, whose volunteers helped catalog books and check them out to students.

Do you remember the Maple Avenue library or having Mrs. Foucher as a volunteer? We’d love to hear your memories!

Time is running out! You have just 6 weeks left to complete the Goffstown Scavenger Hunt!

Think you know Goffstown? Let’s see if you do!

There are 19 scavenger hunt spots to find, plus two fun challenges:

**Compose a poem about a historical figure, event, or place in Goffstown.

**Redesign the Goffstown town seal.

Have fun completing the hunt as a family, with friends, or on your own for bragging rights!

Take a picture at each of the 19 spots and complete the two challenges. Then bring your completed hunt to the Goffstown Historical Society Museum on Saturdays between 12-2 PM to claim your prize.

Learn something new about our town or prove you’re a true Goffstownian!

Pick up your booklet this Saturday at the museum from noon to 2 PM.

Good luck and have fun exploring Goffstown!
