🧠 Why Does Brainiac Bowl Matter?

At Sci-Tech, we believe curiosity can change a child’s future.
Our mission is to inspire learners of all ages and backgrounds through hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Every year, Sci-Tech reaches 65,000 children and families, both at the museum and through programs in schools and communities across North Texas.

But our impact isn't just about the number of people we serve.

It’s about the child who discovers they love building things.
The student who realizes they’re good at solving problems.
The young person who starts to see themselves as a scientist, engineer, inventor, or innovator.

Our educators bring STEM experiences directly to communities, including targeted outreach programs in underserved areas. And the support of our community helps keep admission and program fees low so more kids can participate.

We had a blast celebrating Bring Your Kid to Work Day at Texas Instruments! 🎉🔬

It was such a fun day of hands-on learning, exploration, and STEAM activities with the next generation of innovators! We’re always excited to bring science and technology to the community in new ways.

We were honored to welcome the incredible families of HopeKids to Sci-Tech Discovery Center for a day of exploration, discovery, and fun! 💙🔬

HopeKids' mission is to provide ongoing events, activities, and a unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or another life-threatening medical condition. They remind these remarkable children and their families that **hope is a powerful medicine**—and we're grateful to play a small part in that mission.

Seeing smiles, laughter, curiosity, and families making memories together is exactly why partnerships like this matter.

Mission accomplished! 🚀🧪🎉

Our final day of Summer Camp is here, and we couldn't let the season end without celebrating the amazing team that made it all happen! 💙

These awesome camp teachers spent the summer leading messy experiments, building incredible creations, answering approximately one million questions, cheering on every camper, and making science, technology, engineering, art, and math come alive.

To our campers and families—thank you for making this summer one to remember. We hope you head back to school with new friends, new skills, and plenty of fun stories to share!
