From cinematic frames to photographic moments, The Silent Cut brings together artists working across the space between film and photography, exploring how an image can hold a story, a feeling, or an entire moment in time.

Join us for the Opening Reception on October 25, 5–8 PM at Fort Works Art.

The Silent Cut will open alongside ANGER IS AN ENERGY, a solo exhibition by legendary photographer Kate Simon, spanning 50 years of punk—from its raw beginnings to the artists, musicians, and rebels who defined an era. The Silent Cut will be on view during the run of the Lone Star Film Festival.

We’re still thinking about this past weekend! ✨

We had the opportunity to showcase some beautiful art with Autobahn Fort Worth and Range Rover for a private house event.

With jewelry from Maison Olisa Hat fittings and designs by American Hat Company Leather branding, accessories by Wild Silks and a private cooking experience at the end of the night, we were thrilled to bring Fort Works Art into a new environment, where we can showcase our artists in unexpected ways. With a mixture of Texas tradition, the weekend captured a true sense of elevated design and community in Fort Worth.

Lawrence Schiller photographed Marilyn Monroe on the set of “Something’s Got to Give” in 1962, capturing some of the final images taken before the actress’s death.
