🐝Join the Fairhope Museum of History this Saturday, May 30th, at 1pm in the museum council chamber for the May Speaker Series with Brandon Hargraves! Brandon Hargraves is of the Baldwin County Beekeepers Association and B's Bees, and he will discuss the history of beekeeping in Alabama and why it is important.

Admission is FREE and Open to the Public and refreshments will be provided!

Please join the Fairhope Museum of History on Saturday, May 30th, at 1pm in the museum council chamber for the May Speaker Series with Brandon Hargraves! The museum is getting ready for a new temporary exhibit- the Open Archives! The 3D exhibit on the museum's second floor will be coming down over the next few weeks and, as part of our America250 events, we will be putting up a display of some of our most interesting objects from Fairhope history. These include military uniforms, a Civil War artillery shell, early 20th-century medical equipment, a telegraph key, "Fairhope's first cell phone" and more!

This Saturday, May 2nd, at 1pm!🌳

As part of Fairhope's celebration of America250, the Fairhope Public Library and Fairhope Museum of History will be hosting a genealogy day presentation! Cathy Wilson, an LDS representative and local genealogy organizer, and Gabriel Gold-Vukson, director of the Fairhope Museum of History, will present tips, tricks, methods, and resources for finding information about your ancestors. The presentation will take place in the Fairhope Public Library's Giddens Auditorium on May 2nd at 1pm and admission is free. Guests are welcome to bring their own laptops to follow along if they would like, but this is not required.

Museum staff and volunteers enjoyed presentations by Alabama historians and Director Gabriel Gold-Vukson contributed to a discussion on Historical Writing.
