g. Conduct in violation of any federal, state, or local law;
h. Encouragement of illegal activity;
i. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
j. Content that violates a legal ownership interest, such as a copyright or trademark;
k. Spam or links to malware or viruses
2. A comment posted by a member of the public on any Park District social media site is the opinion of the commenter or poster only, and publication of a comment does not imply endorsement of, or agreement by, the Park District, not do the comments necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the Park District.
3. The Park District reserves the right to deny access to Park District social media sites for any individual who violates the Park District’s social media policy, at any time and without prior notice.
4. Departments monitor their social media sites for comments requesting responses from the Park District and for comments in violation of this policy; however, please be advised that Park District social media sites are not monitored 24/7 and that responses and comment moderation may not be immediate.
5. All comments posted to any Park District Facebook site are bound by the platform's terms of service, including Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, located at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php.
6. Users who enter private or personal information on Park District social media sites do so at their own risk, and the Park District is not responsible for any damages resulting from the public display of, or failure to remove, private or personal information.
7. Content posted on the Park District social media sites may be subject to disclosure under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act and retention under the Local Records Act.
8. This policy and terms of use may be amended from time-to-time, without further notice.

🌼 Ring in the start of summer with an exciting outdoor activity as we learn all about Illinois's amazing wildflowers and then help make the world a little more beautiful by planting our own. Children will get to pick which flower they want to help grow and bloom then plant them in their own pots.

For those that do, they almost universally begin by saying that the Blackhawk War happened and then the first settlers came. But what actually happened during the Blackhawk War? Who was Blackhawk?
