This year's distinguished inductees include Hal Marcus, Cindy Ramos-Davidson, Dr. Cindy Stout, and Wayne Thornton. The El Paso Historical Society will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in celebration of Independence Day. We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, July 7th at 10 am.

Mark your calendars for the dedication of a historical marker commemorating Elvira Villa Escajeda. The ceremony will be on July 18 at the Hart Elementary School Cafeteria 1110 Park Street.

Exciting updates!! We are excited to share several new initiatives that will expand access to El Paso's rich history.

First, we are developing a brand-new EPCHS website that will launch in the fall. The new site will provided improved access to our archives and a members only area.

Our new Exhibit Room located upstairs at the Burges House is now open! The inaugural exhibit features a remarkable collection of photographs from the EPCHS archives highlighting the history of the Ysleta and Socorro Missions. The exhibit is free and open to the public during our regular hours.

Finally, we are launching a new Genealogy Program that will support family history research for members and visitors alike. Stay tuned for more details!
