🌑☀️ A Total Solar Eclipse is happening today!

While today’s eclipse is not visible from El Paso, we can still experience this incredible celestial event together! 🌎✨

NASA is sharing live coverage of the eclipse, giving us a front-row seat as the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun and totality sweeps across parts of the Northern Hemisphere.

You might be wondering what we've been up to this week at The Roddenberry Planetarium...

Let's just say we're convinced there are some future astronauts, scientists, and space explorers right here in EPISD!

This week, The Roddenberry Planetarium, in partnership with DoDEA, has been hosting EPISD students for an exciting summer camp filled with hands-on learning and discovery. Campers explored adaptations, journeyed through the solar system, built their own telescopes, and put their engineering skills to the test by designing space capsules capable of safely returning an "eggstronaut" back to Earth.

From creative problem-solving to scientific exploration, our students have shown incredible curiosity, teamwork, and innovation. We can't wait to see where their passion for STEM takes them next!

🚀✨ We’re Back! The Roddenberry Planetarium Summer Schedule Has Been Updated! ✨🚀

If you saw our summer calendar posted earlier, please note that a few show dates and titles have been updated. We’re excited to announce that our FREE Summer Show Series is officially back for June and July 2026!

🌎 Showtimes: 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM
🎟️ Free tickets are released one week in advance at 8:00 AM
🌟 Spanish-language shows every Wednesday
🚶 10 walk-up tickets available per show, first come, first served
⏰ No late entry once the show begins

Be sure to check the updated calendar for the latest schedule, and join us for an exciting summer of space exploration, science, and discovery!
