Today, the True Black History Museum proudly celebrates civil rights attorney Ben Crump, whose tireless pursuit of justice and equality continues to leave a lasting mark on American history.

Weโ€™ve had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Attorney Crump to the museum on several occasions. His genuine kindness, uplifting words, and support of our mission have left a lasting impression.

As we celebrate his birthday, we honor his unwavering commitment to justice and his dedication to giving a voice to those seeking fairness and accountability.

Happy Birthday, Attorney Crump! Thank you for standing for justice, inspiring others, and continuing to make history!

Born on this day, October 4, 1943, H. Rap Brown, activist, organizer, and former chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
Brown emerged as one of the Black Power eraโ€™s most outspoken voices, challenging America to confront racism, inequality, and injustice.
Today, we remember a powerful and complex figure in the Black freedom struggle.
Know the history. Understand the struggle. Keep the legacy alive.
