The Duda Gallery - Spring Update
Hello fellow artists!
This is the official Spring 2022 update from The Duda Gallery located in the heart of Downtown Delaware, OH, USA.
Duda info-
Wow! 2022 is already proving to be a big year. With several murals, conventions, speaking engagements and more lined up for the year, I am going to be extremely busy! Because of this I am looking to hire 1-2 interns for the gallery space. Candidate must live within 30 minutes of Delaware Ohio and be available at least 4 hrs per day/ 4 days per month during gallery showings. If you are interested please reach out. Competitive pay, painting sale commission and great experience to add to your art cv.
I have also recently been inducted into Facebooks Leadership Network and will be traveling to Washington DC in May to participate in a series of meetings with Facebook. I will use my platform with the company (I have over 1 billion views across their platforms) to bolster support and exposure for the gallery and it’s artists. An exciting opportunity for us all!
Gallery info-
Renovations of the gallery space are almost complete and are set to finish on schedule by the last week of April!
The space has gained a lot of attention and public anticipation for the coming shows. EXCITING STUFF!
SO. It’s time to SUBMIT YOUR WORKS!
Local artists and international artists will have different instructions for submitting. Please read carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions. Be straight forward with your emails and I will respond in a timely manner! The instructions are as follows;
-Local artists (artists located in the state of Ohio, specifically central Ohio). Please arrange a drop off to the gallery space or a meet up with me. Because of my schedule I frequently travel around Ohio during the week and it is possible I will be near you or at least close. Drop off is the most convenient way to get your paintings into the space. If you must ship them, follow the shipping instructions below.
-International Artists- If you wish to submit your works to The Duda Gallery collection, please follow the below shipping instructions.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS——-
Ship art works to my office located at;
8426 Reynoldswood Dr
Reynoldsburg, OH, 43068
You may ship NO MORE THAN 2 paintings to my office space (address below). Paintings must be 11in x 14in OR SMALLER. Any submissions over 11x14 will not be accepted to the collection and will be shipped back at the artists’ expense or confiscated. Package must include the following;
- Paintings signed / numbered on reverse
- Custom name cards with price for each painting (nothing over $200 please) and your artist name / Instagram handle (get creative! Good name cards always draw attention and excite)
- A few business cards or contact info on paper
- You may also include a few prints as a bonus gift to your painting’s buyer
- Other important info on shipping; The Duda Gallery is not responsible for items damaged in shipping. Please make sure to pay for shipping insurance for the value of your work(s). If you are sending $400 worth of paintings, please insure it for that amount.
- The Duda Gallery is also not responsible for paying any shipping costs what so ever. If a local artist can not arrange a pick up, they will have to pay for their works to be shipped back or relinquish their works. International artists must pay for shipping and return shipping. The Duda Gallery will store and rotate all of its works from now until forever. So feel free to keep your work in the collection until it sells! If you’d like it back at any point, you must pay for the return shipping and it will be shipped out within 10 business days of the request.
Once your painting has been received, it is officially part of The Duda Gallery collection, and will be rotated in the gallery until it is sold or until you pick it up from the gallery space. Feel free to use “The Duda Gallery” on your art resumes / cv’s.
If your painting sells, you will be sent your funds (minus the 10% curation / gallery fee) via PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. It is your choice of payment. Customers can pay in cash, but as far as artists payout goes, it will be done electronically for book keeping purposes.
More info will be coming in the following weeks so please stay tuned! And again, feel free to send any questions comments or concerns via email. I look forward to working with all of you!
