Art Center of the Bluegrass is the region's leading visual arts center drawing in more than 20,000 visitors annually. ✨ This Week at the Art Center ✨

➡️ Join us for Lunch with the Arts on Tuesday from noon to 1 pm as we welcome Jonas Hurley to speak about the Dragon Fire Angama Kiln! The inaugural firing of this restored wood-firing kiln happened in April, with a second firing planned for early October. Lunch with the Arts is FREE and open to the public.

🎨 Homeschool Art Club starts on Wednesday! Sign up for the semester or drop in for single sessions. Affordable arts education for kids ages 6-12, just $15 per session! 1-2:30 pm. https://go.artcenterky.org/HomeschoolFall2026

🤩 Visit the Art Center and find inspiration in the current exhibit in the Grand Hall Gallery, “Observing the Light: Painting Outside with the Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky”. Then come to Poetry Connected on Thursday and share a poem or piece of prose reflecting on the exhibit. Free and open to the public! 6-7 pm.

🚸 Mini Makers Club is a time for our littlest artists to come play and explore in our Art Lab Classroom! Ages 0-5 are welcome, with a grown-up every Friday and the first Saturday of the month from 10:30 am to 2 pm. FREE!

🍪 Cookies & Canvas is a great introduction to acrylic painting for kids ages 7-12. In this hands-on workshop, kids will paint a cute scarecrow for fall - and of course, there are cookies! Just $15! Saturday from 3-5 pm.
