Support local art! See my submission in the original Studio Ink post comments ✌️

🎨 HEY, CENTRAL KENTUCKY ARTISTS! WE WANT TO SEE YOUR ART! 🎨

We’re looking for the next design to put on Studio Ink shirts, and we want to give a local artist the chance to display their art!

WHAT YOU WIN
A Studio Ink swag bag, a shirt with your design on it, AND we’re actually printing your design on our next run of Studio Ink T-shirts!

🖤 THE RULES
• You can be any age to enter, as long as you live in Central Kentucky. If you’re under 18, you’ll need parent or guardian permission.

• ONE design per person! Already have a piece you’re proud of? That’s fine! It doesn’t have to be made specifically for this contest.

• 100% ORIGINAL ARTWORK. NO AI. NO EXCEPTIONS. We mean it. No AI-generated art, no AI-assisted design, no generative fill, no AI editing. None of it. Your design needs to be your own work, created by YOU. No tracing, copying other artists, or taking someone else’s work and making it your own. No copyrighted characters, logos, or other people’s artwork without permission. We’re here to support artists and their creativity, so let’s keep it real.

• Keep it shirt-friendly! No explicit sexual imagery, and the design needs to be something that fits Studio Ink.

HOW TO ENTER
Drop a PHOTO of your design in the comments on this post! That’s it. Make sure you’re commenting on our post and not a shared version so your votes count.

HOW TO WIN
The design comment with the MOST LIKES when voting closes in two weeks wins! Share this post and get your people over here to show your design some love.

In the event of a tie, Studio Ink will pick the winner from the tied entries. We reserve the right to disqualify entries that don’t follow the rules.

The artist keeps ownership of their design, and we’ll work out a written agreement with the winner giving Studio Ink permission to print and sell it on our merch.

We have some seriously talented people around here, and we want to see what you’ve got. Tattooers, illustrators, painters, doodlers, hobby artists, whoever you are, we want to see your work!

Let’s put some local art on some shirts🖤

Artists are such trash pandas, that old fashioned fair-style lemonade cup was the best large glazing cup. I don't let a large top piece of plastic hit a trash bag in this house 🤣

Another big girl painting headed to the finish line, edges and glazing today. Honeslty sometimes you just have to know when to call it. I'm hoping this one just feels done after the finishing touches 🎨

This painting represents many days spent in prayer and reflection, creating with the creator.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

You err in letting others decide your priorities and make your schedule. By using small bits of time faithfully, you can accomplish great things.

Proverbs 3:5-6, Romans 12:2, Ecclesiastes 9:10

Sometimes my Bible study hits kind of hard... I don't know who else needs this, but I did.

One of my favorite subjects and favorite medium combinations.
'Flowers in Checked Vase' 18x24" acrylic and oil pastel on archival paper

Proverbs 16:9: "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

I have so much to be thankful for today ❤️

Mathew 6:25 & Romans 8:28

An abstract painting isn't nearly as random as it appears. Every color is measured for it's opacity, tone, temperature and placement. Every stroke's thickness, texture and breadth is evaluated and placed with tenacious care. I often sit and ponder these things for a length of time, only to have the final decision be a swift flick of a placement. I've already evaluated the perfect tool, color, placement and gesture. It's all nuanced and speaks to the larger composition. I'll keep going at it, in this manner, until it pleases me- my eye and makes sense. Until I look and ponder it, finished, and I'm at peace with all of my creative choices. The final product brings me joy, or at the very least, a sense of realization.

I was reminded today, in study, that our lives are like that. Created, nuanced to God's measured divine will. Nothing is by happenstance but part of his greater design. Blessings, favor and trial. What a beautiful composition.

Lily's Lilies 9x12" oil pastel on canvas. I'm really having fun focusing on different mediums! I had this one framed for sweet girl's nursery. This piece just gives me joy to look at. It's a sweet little whimsical moment.

Luke 12:27 consider the lilies, Proverbs 31:25
Life is good, thank you for looking 💕 ✨️ 👩‍🎨

Another funky vase. 9x12" chalk pastel on canvas.
Green fish jug with poppies
Created with a friend entirely on my mind, an avid lover of fish and the colors green and orange. This one was just joyful, no fussing.

Thank you for looking 🫰✨️
Mathew 6:34 has been with me today ❤️💁‍♀️
