Alongside our current exhibitions, the front space brings together works by gallery artists Chris Stewart, Gary Schafter, and Pamela Nelson, each with a distinctly different approach to process and material.



Chris Stewart builds his paintings through layers of gesture, color, washes, and texture, allowing marks to accumulate and shift as each composition develops.

A closer look at what’s coming to New York this October.

These details offer another glimpse into Common Ground, bringing together eight artists and their distinct approaches to contemporary landscape painting. From texture and color to atmosphere and form, there’s much more to see when the full exhibition comes together at DFN Projects.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of Out of Context by Thom Jackson and Fenestrations by Anders Moseholm.

It was wonderful to see the gallery filled with familiar faces, new visitors, and so many people coming together to celebrate these two exhibitions. As the final exhibitions presented under the Craighead Green Gallery name, the evening was especially meaningful, and we’re grateful to everyone who came out to share it with us.

Out of Context and Fenestrations are on view through September 26. We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery.

Tomorrow marks the opening of the final exhibitions under the Craighead Green Gallery name and the beginning of an exciting transition for the gallery.

After 34 years of history, we’re looking ahead to a future that builds on that foundation while making room for a new vision, new opportunities, and new ways for the gallery to grow. Bardin Gallery represents that next step and the direction we’re excited to pursue.

Since moving to 167 Parkhouse Street in 2024, we’ve watched this space take on a different character with every exhibition.

From bringing colored walls and supersized objects together for the exhibitions featuring Heather Gorham and Pamela Nelson, to the collaborative spirit and handwork of Stitching Connections, and then beginning 2026 with Reality Is Only Your Perception, each exhibition brought something entirely different to Parkhouse Street.

Looking back at these installations reminds us how much has already happened here and how many possibilities this space continues to offer.

As Craighead Green Gallery prepares to become Bardin Gallery, Parkhouse Street remains our home. We’re looking forward to building on the history already made here while bringing new energy and ideas into the space.
