Calling all caterers! 🤠🥂

The C. William Gilchrist Gallery & Museum is seeking catering bids for our 18th Annual Gilchrist Gala: Boots, Brims & Bubbly, taking place Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the Gilchrist garden.

This year, we’re trading tropical nights for western lights with an elevated western-inspired evening of art, music, celebration, and community. Guests will enjoy artwork by featured artist Lee Butler, live music from Hot Sauce Willie, themed experiences, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and special surprises still to be announced.

We are looking for a creative catering partner to help bring the theme to life with festive, approachable, elevated rustic food for approximately 200 guests. Menu ideas may include western, barbecue, Southern/Appalachian-inspired items, grazing stations, heavy hors d’oeuvres, comfort food, small bites, or other creative options that fit the evening.

Interested caterers should submit proposals including menu ideas, service style, pricing, staffing, rental needs, dietary accommodations, and proof of insurance/licensing.

Please submit proposals to:

Beautiful days like today are perfect garden days and for tackling the big projects. Today’s project included beheading the plant beast that tried to swallow our historic wall 👹🍃
