Something special is taking shape inside the Ferleman Gallery.

Today’s Saturday Samples at RootsTable offered another glimpse into the larger vision: handmade savory hand pies, prepared with fresh ingredients and served among contemporary art, creative conversation, and the energy of a working cultural space.

Guests sampled two versions:
• Wayne’s Country Fresh Meat pie with caramelized onions and blue cheese dressing
• Granny Smith apple, brie cheese, and cherry balsamic dressing

What’s emerging at the gallery is more than separate experiences living under one roof. It’s a place where exhibitions, live performances, and thoughtfully prepared food intersect naturally. An evening might begin with dinner at RootsTable, continue with a concert at Gallery Stage, and unfold surrounded by rotating exhibitions throughout the gallery.

Art, music, and hospitality — all designed to be experienced together.

Missed Saturday Sample? Here’s a taste of what went down at RootsTable at the Ferleman Gallery 🌮 House-made masa tortillas, tacos two ways—Lion’s Mane mushrooms and slow-cooked beef shank—all locally sourced and topped with our signature slaw and five bold, scratch-made sauces. It was a great afternoon of food, flavor, and community—keep an eye out, we’ll be doing it again next Saturday.
