• Students from West Covina arguing the West Covina position
• A live 1920s-style town hall exchange
• A mock ballot vote — How would YOU have voted in 1922?
• Original archival maps, aerials, and newspaper accounts

This event brings to life a pivotal moment in local history—when a proposed sewage farm sparked a civic battle that ultimately led to the incorporation of West Covina in 1923.

It’s not just history… it’s civic dialogue, community identity, and a little friendly rivalry between neighbors.

Would love to see both Covina and West Covina residents come out and support—this is one of those events that really connects the past to what we’re still dealing with today.

Join the Covina Valley Historical Society this Saturday, February 21, 2026, as we honor two men who meant so much to our organization: President Bob Ihsen and Vice President Fred Feldheim.

We will gather in the hall at Holy Trinity Church of Covina from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
