🪷1. Respectfully listening to audio recording of a special Dharma in the Dharma Series on Prajna and Emptiness expounded by Namo Dorje Chang Buddha III:
“The Ture Essence of Emptiness and Wondrous Existence Manifested through Holy Amrita Descending Upon a Cotton Tree”

The audio recording of this Dharma is in Chinese. Preliminary English translation will be available for reading on site when listening to the Dharma. Please indicate during registration that you will need a copy.

Honoring H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day Through Life Release, Service, and Learning

In January, Buddhist communities worldwide observed H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day, commemorating the occasion through ceremonies, acts of service, and educational programs. The observance reflected teachings that emphasize cultivation, moral integrity, and compassion, offering participants a chance to express reverence through meaningful action while fostering harmony within their communities.

The annual observance traces back to January 19, 2011, when the then-Mayor Vincent C. Gray of Washington, D.C., officially proclaimed the date as H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Day. In his proclamation, Mayor Gray called upon the public to honor H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III for His profound contributions to the well-being of humanity. In 2011, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III received the Top Honor Prize of the World Peace Prize Award for having contributed tremendously to the peace and enlightenment of humanity. In 2012, the United States Senate passed Resolution No. 614, affirming the respect accorded to His spiritual leadership.

恭迎 H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛日

加州佛教界隆重紀念世界上唯一政府頒佈的佛陀日

(洛杉磯訊) 1月19日是全球佛教徒矚目的「H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛日」。為恭迎這一殊勝之日，加州多家佛教機構和民間團體與來自全球的佛教徒紛紛響應，於週末展開一系列祈福、放生及慈善捐助活動。其中，第三世多杰羌佛文化藝術館於1月18日在洛杉磯 Marina Del Rey 隆重舉行大型放生活動，放生法會禮請世界佛教總部副主席證達教尊主法。南加州世界佛教總部、聖蹟寺、弘法寺、聖格講堂、佛教正法學院，北加州華藏寺、瑪倉寺，及拉斯維加斯慈善寺 等多家佛教機構，皆派代表共襄盛舉。此項活動以祈求世界和平為核心主軸，與全球佛教徒的慶祝行動遙相呼應，祈願眾生離苦得樂、福慧圓滿。

「H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛日」為世界上唯一由政府頒佈的佛陀日，由美國首都華盛頓特區市長 Vincent C. Gray 於2011年正式行文宣佈，旨在表彰 H.H. 第三世多杰羌佛對人類文明與和平的傑出貢獻。身為佛陀，自然是整個佛教最高領袖，南無第三世多杰羌佛始終教導大眾要以慈悲為本、利益眾生，這也成為全球信眾慶祝活動的核心宗旨。

作為這次系列慶祝的主要活動，第三世多杰羌佛文化藝術館於1月18日上午，舉辦「吉祥祈福放生活動」，現場氣氛莊嚴，信眾在佛號聲中將魚類眾生放歸大海，以此功德回向世界和平、國泰民安。館方表示，放生活動不僅是實踐佛陀救護生命的教誡，更能培養大眾戒殺護生的善心善舉。主法法師證達教尊表示：透過放生實踐大悲心，是佛弟子對佛陀最好的供養，願眾生皆能消災免難。參與信徒也感動地說，能在這個特殊的日子裡，親自參與保護生命，深切感受到佛陀慈悲的力量，內心充滿法喜。
