Exciting Upcoming Workshop Announcement!

We're happy to announce our upcoming workshop, which is open to the entire community.

We have obstacles and problems in our community. Let’s help sort them out through expressive art.

There’s no specific medium; you can choose your own tools from an art buffet!

Use your feelings and imagination to engage in a community conversation through talking, writing, and doodling.

No prior experience is needed to join!

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.
Sign-up in person or call: 614-568-9741 to secure your spot!

Thank you!

Hello! We can't wait for The Big Table, tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th, 2-5PM at 1221 Art Space! What is The Big Table?...
09/28/2026

Hello! We can't wait for The Big Table, tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th, 2-5PM at 1221 Art Space!
What is The Big Table?
The Big Table is a community-wide day of conversation, by The Columbus Foundation. Through intentional dialogue, participants are encouraged to meet new people, share their lived experiences, and actively listen to build a kinder, more connected community where everyone has a seat at the table.
The Big Table is free and open to all!

Art Space will facilitate three discussions under the theme "Making Space: Art, Community, and Access."

Intuitive Hand Stitching with Emerald
For beginners or anyone curious about hand stitching. We will explore through conversation and art making -tuning into ourselves, inviting play into our creative process, and making something imperfect with no set goals or expectations.

Creating Purposeful “Ugly” Art with Rebecca
Join us for an afternoon dedicated to releasing the pressure of artistic expectations. Deliberately creating "ugly" art can free the mind and remove the constraints of perfectionism. We will explore the importance of having the freedom, support, and resources necessary for creativity.

Activity Music with Joanie
Unleash your inner musician in this engaging musical conversation! Join Joanie as she highlights the role music plays in our mental well-being. This will be an open discussion focused on the importance of acknowledging and respecting invisible disabilities.

We hope you join us! Thanks!
