Dough for Dino This is our own little “jawsome” FUNdraiser to help bring a 25’ long dinosaur skeleton to OSU! Full details at: https://ortongeologicalmuseum.osu.edu/

As we try to pursue “love, perseverance and gentleness” as a lifestyle, we remember how generously God loves and supplies us; He motivates and empowers us to be “rich in good works…ready to share” (1 Timothy 6:11-18). We hope to instill this generosity in our boys. Most days, it’s small and random acts of kindness. Saturdays, it’s fun to donut bomb friends. :)

And this Valentine’s Day, for the love of dinos, we join a most “jawsome” FUNdraiser - to help bring a 25’ long dinosaur skeleton to OSU! Our own kid-fueled campaign, “Dough for Dino,” will support the university’s largest crowd-funding effort ($80k) which kicks off officially in March 2017. Can we raise $100 to put in the donation jar when we return in two weeks (2/28) to the Orton Geological Museum?! (I can’t believe how fun, free and accessible it is - what a service it offers to our community!)

Nate suggests we bring friends and march across the Oval in costume as part of a dinosaur parade! Garrett wants to make and sell cookies! So, if you or your kids love dinos, cookies, baking or Buckeyes, please join us! (If you’d rather donate online, that’s great - follow the link and let us know, so we can count your contribution toward reaching our goal of $500 by 3/31.) • every member needs to experience the skeleton of a 24-foot long discovered by an Ohio State professor in 1991 in Antarctica 🇦🇶
- we helped fundraise for it with a bake sale 🍪 in 2007 via our Dough for Dino campaign supporting the Orton Geological Museum (FREE!) in the The Ohio State University School of Earth Sciences at The Ohio State University (the most successful Buckeye Funder project to date)!

The Ohio Statehouse will celebrate on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, by offering FREE fossil tours on Capitol Square.

The special tours will take place at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. during Earth Science Week.

Expert geologists will explore the limestone walls, stairs and columns that support the Ohio Statehouse.

These fossil tours are a unique opportunity for anyone fascinated by geology and natural history.

The tours will start in the Worthington Center, located on the ground floor of the Ohio Statehouse.

Tours will be conducted by Dale M. Gnidovec, Curator of the OSU Orton Geological Museum and Mark Peter, Paleontologist at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Geological Survey.

RSVPs for this tour are mandatory due to limited capacity and those who do not RSVP may not be able to go on the tours.

The dinosaur’s out of the bag!

A statue of me riding a T-Rex (based on “Sue,” the largest and most complete tyrannosaurus skeleton ever discovered!) will be unveiled to the public on National Dinosaur Day, June 1st, at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC! 🦖 🦕

I am beyond honored and excited! I love that the essence of my music and my song "We Are The Dinosaurs" will now not only be embedded in this important and historic museum through my 25th anniversary music video (which they allowed me to film inside the museum!), but also through a statue! 🥹 It's unreal!
