BASF Planetarium has some wonderful volunteers during the week from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Tuesdays through Fridays. Come join volunteer, Wendi Moore at 12:30 PM each Friday this summer for a FREE science lab experiment. Planetarium shows will follow at 1:00 PM; tickets are FREE to planetarium members and $5/person for non-members. 🌞🌞🌞 See YOU at the planetarium this summer!

A new exhibit, "Venus Between Us: The Space Where Beauty Lives in Relationships", opened TODAY in Brazosport Art League gallery. Featuring original works by local artists & BAL members Cynthia Kethley and Inga Howard, the exhibit runs through Sunday, July 5.

Join BAL to celebrate the show at a reception, THIS Friday, June 5 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the gallery. Meet the artists, see their work and enjoy drinks & snacks. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Tickets to the gallery are FREE and can be reserved online at bcfas.org/visit or when you arrive in the lobby. Gallery hours are 11:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesdays through Saturdays and 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sundays.

☎️☎️☎️CALLING ALL ARTISTS!☎️☎️☎️ Join instructor Dana Moody Stevens for a three-week Mixed Media Workshop in Brazosport Art League studio from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM on 3 consecutive Tuesdays: June 16, June 23 and June 30.

Registration is $100 and includes all supplies. The workshop is open to all levels of adult artists, and participants will have at least one completed art piece at the end of the workshop.

Join BASF Planetarium during June for a *NEW* planetarium show, "Cosmic Kaboom! Why Stars Explode When They Die" at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays (June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30) and the 4th Friday of the month (June 26).

Stars glitter across our night sky. They form, live their lives and then explode at the very end. These explosions are both spectacular and are incredibly important to the galaxy. Join us as we discover the variety of incredible explosions and why it all happens.

It's THROWBACK THURSDAY and we're looking back FIVE years to the day in 2021 when both BASF Planetarium and Brazosport Art League signed their consolidation agreements to officially become programs of The Center!🍾🥂🎉

Then executive committee president Elaine Polemenakos was joined by BP chair Diane Hill (left) and BAL chair Margarita Prinz (right). Thank you for stepping up to make this important work happen, ladies!

Congratulations to Brazosport Symphony Orchestra conductor Brian Casey on receiving this prestigious honor! 🎉🎉🎉 YOU make us proud!

Congrats to our director Brian Casey!!

During the Brazosport Big Band monthly jazz event held at Wurst Haus on May 24th, John Bernzen with Brazosport Association of Retired School Personnel presented the ‘21st Century Award’ to BSO’s conductor, Brian Casey.

This award is given in recognition of outstanding community service to retirees who are members of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and our local chapter, BARSP.

Thank you, Mr. Casey, for being an integral part of bringing live music to our Brazosport community!

It's the FINAL WEEK to see the Kids & Teen Studio Time Show in Brazosport Art League gallery through Sunday, May 31! One of the most fun exhibits of the year, the show features bold, bright and colorful works from our student artists in the weekly kids & teen art classes.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Sundays from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Tickets are FREE and can be reserved in advance at bcfas.org/visit or in the lobby when you arrive.
