We had a ball learning about Simple Machines at our 2nd Mondays at the Museum program this morning, our part of Summer at The Center programming! Our youngest friends learned about how LOTS of things work and then went on a scavenger hunt around the museum to look for simple machines.

With The Center for the Arts & Sciences' 50th anniversary coming up later this summer, we started digging through some of our old scrapbooks! We came across this 1966 article from The Facts announcing the opening of our downtown Lake Jackson location in November of that year. Do YOU remember when we were located downtown?
