Praxis Fiber Workshop Praxis is a community textile workshop offering a gallery, classes and studio space to all interested in fiber arts.

Located in Cleveland's Waterloo Arts District, we provide resources for artists at all levels to learn, create, and connect. The mission of Praxis is to revitalize the field of Fiber art in the Cleveland area by giving local artists and community members access to fiber related equipment, classes and studio space. Praxis is dedicated to increasing awareness and expanding the field of contemporary fiber art by creating an environment of experimentation, exhibition and communication locally and within the broader art community.

We’re excited to invite our community to the 2026 Fiber Affair, celebrating the artists, programs, and community shaping Praxis Fiber Workshop’s next chapter. Enjoy an evening of food, drinks, art, and creative experiences while supporting the continued growth of Praxis and its expanding campus.

Enjoy a delicious menu by chef April Thompson accompanied by live music. Explore our evolving campus, and experience our new Crop to Cloth store, dye lab, and evolving outdoor classroom!

Step outside for cozy warmth under heaters and sip a special indigo-themed cocktail designed just for the evening. Inside, enjoy holiday shopping, a raffle, and a silent auction featuring local artists and community partners.
