All Things Oz Museum Museum dedicated to preserving the legacy of native son L. Frank Baum & All Things OZ!

Exhibits include L. Frank Baum's life and his works, the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie, Oz collectibles, The Wiz on Broadway, Wicked, the Muchkins and all things Oz related

I LOVE NEW YORK Path Through History Weekend continues today with TWO chances to see what we are up to in Oz!

We are at Destiny USA today at the former Margaritaville space in the Canyon on the third floor with a special exhibit showing off some pieces that don’t get to travel much, and a few pieces you have never seen from our collection. We will be there until 6 pm when the mall closes!

Also- you have a chance to stop by the museum for “The Wonderful Women Of Oz” where you can learn about Dorothy, and the witches, and Ozma, and Jinjur, and Scraps and many more Ozian characters…then, as a bonus, you can visit our friends at the Matilda Joslyn Gage Center to learn about the women of Oz in Baum’s life- his bride Maud and mother-in-law Matilda!

Welcome to PATH THROUGH HISTORY weekend!

I LOVE NEW YORK Path Through History Weekend is this weekend and we are participating in an OZ sized way!

We will be featuring the Wonderful Women of Oz at the Museum. Come learn about Dorothy, Glinda, Ozma, Scraps, Genral Jinjur, and many more of the women of OZ, as well as some of the real life women behind the scenes like Maud and Matilda Gage.

Then- head over to the Matilda Joslyn Gage Center in Fayetteville for an in depth look at the Mother In Law of L. Frank Baum and how this leader in the Suffrage movement inspired Frank to write down his stories. Also- you can stand in the house that Frank and Maud were married in.

And to finish off the weekend, head to Destiny USA for our amazing Oz-Tober exhibit in the old Margaritaville porch space showing some amazing artifacts, including some items that have never traveled before!

She says her favorite ATO museum exhibit is the NBC/Universal’s “WICKED Part One” & “Wicked For Good” exhibit featuring original movie costumes and props!

Are you looking for the perfect Sunday activity? Bring the whole family to the All Things Oz Museum for a guided tour. We'll take you through our collection and explain the history behind some of our exhibit pieces. (Don't worry, we won't talk about all 18,000 items in our collection, just some of the rare and one-of-a-kind items.)😆

General admission is $14, and we're open from 10am to 5pm.

Have you already taken the tour a few times? Maybe now is the time to start volunteering with us! There are many volunteer opportunities ranging from behind the scenes with cleaning or collection management to face-forward positions that include assisting in the gift shop or giving tours. Stop in for a volunteer application or call us at 315-687-7772 for more information!
