What a week at International House!

We explored questions that reach far beyond campus: a fireside chat with Hina Rabbani Khar and John Kirby on energy and climate security, a conversation about the Declaration of Independence and its significance for modern democracy, and Beyond Borders, where students shared insights from their research and internships abroad in global health and social development.

Thank you to our speakers, student presenters, partners, and everyone who joined us this week.

From medieval secret societies to social medial spirals, conspiracy culture took center stage last week at I-House in collaboration with the IOP last week.

The Truth Is Out There… and It’s Trending: Conspiracy Culture Across American History brought together Jamelle Bouie, Brace Belden, Christopher Fee, and Elise Wang for a lively conversation on how conspiracy theories evolved from whispered rumors to timeline mainstays and what that shift means for American public life today.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a night of big questions and sharp insights! 🛸📱

An idea 250 years in the making, so where do we stand today?

Last Friday on May 1st, America at 250: The Unfinished Project brought together Valerie Jarrett, Ro Khanna, and Alison Lacroix to reflect on whether the American Revolution achieved its ideals, and what remains to be done.

Thank you to our panelists and everyone who joined us for an evening of thoughtful dialogue and critical reflection.
