Next to me is a section of the kneeling bench said to have been used and owned by the Voodoo Queen herself, Marie Laveau, at her home altar on St. Ann Street. It is on display at the Historic Voodoo Museum in New Orleans. Some believe objects connected to Marie Laveau still carry a powerful presence.
