Today, I had the pleasure of attending a fascinating webinar called β€œOccultism, Psychology, and Artificial Intelligence,” presented by the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy.

One statement in particular from Dr. Sean Tobin really caught my attention.

As someone who has spent years researching and investigating alleged haunted and cursed objects, I found his perspective especially thought-provoking. It certainly offers an interesting way to examine the relationship between objects, human intention, belief, and the paranormal. I have to say...what an amazing webinar! It was very well put together, and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the different perspectives on these subjects. Definitely one of those discussions that leaves you with a lot to think about, especially in this field.

Next to me is a section of the kneeling bench said to have been used and owned by the Voodoo Queen herself, Marie Laveau, at her home altar on St. Ann Street. It is on display at the Historic Voodoo Museum in New Orleans. Some believe objects connected to Marie Laveau still carry a powerful presence.
