Today's class. . . Water etching on bone dry clay!

Apply a little stencil or sticker. Wipe the clay away around the image with a sponge. It leaves a raised area of texture on your piece!

Tip: To get deep texture, wipe back more than you think you need to. 😉

This is a simple way to make your rim interesting. The trick is to leave your rim thinker than normal. On this mid-century modern themed piece, I used, you guessed it, harvest gold, leaf green, cinnamon (Mayco underglaze) which honor the appliances from that time period. 🤭
