Excited for the opening reception of Women: Hood by Satomi Kawai in our space tonight from 6-8pm! The exhibition features six artists & explores femininity through 2D and 3D art, storytelling, and movement.

This project was one of the 2026 Big Field Fund recipients, which is an incredible and accessible grant opportunity for local artists, and we’re thrilled to be part of its ex*****on!

New gallery show opening at 237 Collective this Saturday!! Last weekend, Satomi & Dani curated their exhibition “Women: Hood IV” which opens in just 3 days!

This show features six artists & explores femininity through 2D and 3D art, storytelling, and movement.

There are 4 chances to see their show!

With a busy year of fashion shows, art installations and lots more, we haven’t had the time to plan a gallery show of our own. We’re excited to be opening our space to Satomi and her team and thankful for the work they’re doing to bring an exhibition to 237!🏠

We’re super excited to share that we will have custom typewriter poems available at A Way With Words!!✍🏼💌📚

Co-Create an intentional, personalized poem with Tree Of Liminality!🌟 These poems are pay-what-you-can.

We’ll also have author popups, a full stage lineup of poets & musicians, a book swap with Basement Collective, book drive, creative writing activities for kids and drinks from 319 Drink Co ✨📚

Hit up the Cedar Rapids Public Library Busse Branch grand opening from 10-2 and A Way With Words from 1-6 for a full day of supporting public libraries, access to books and the literature community!!📖

September 19th — The day for Cedar Rapids readers!!📚🌟‼️ We are hosting a debut Literature Event with 237 Collective & in just 10 days!!!

The grand opening for the new Cedar Rapids Public Library, Busse Branch is from 10am-2pm and A Way With Words is from 1-6pm!! Fill your day with support for public libraries, local authors, spoken word performers, musicians and connect with the reading community!🐛🫶🏻📖

We’ll have literature activities, a book swap & drive, drinks from 319 Drink Co. and an insane lineup of local authors, poets and musicians!!!

Share with your book club, reading buddy or librarian and we’ll see you thereeee❤️‍🔥

📚BOOK SWAP: Trade your old books for new ones by bringing what’s on your shelf and swapping with community members!
