✨Warren is currently completing his MFA in poetry at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.

✨His publications include 5 poetry collections, inclusion in the American Poetry Review.

✨ And he was featured in The Best American Poetry 2021 and A Black Philadelphia Reader: African American Writings About the City of Brotherly Love.

Warren has been a CUPSI grand slam and NPS group piece finalist, coached the Philly Pigeon and Fuze Slam Team, and has performed in venues including the Kimmel Center, The Nuyorican Poetry Cafe.

Honored to spotlight HENRY MORRAY today:

🌟Henry just performed and won at the 2025 Slam-O-Vision Poetry Slam in September. Which means he’ll be representing Iowa City in the INTERNATIONAL poetry slam in November which’ll be broadcast worldwide. (Congrats, Henry!)

🌟He’s a 2023 grad of Cornell College, where he was president of Lyrically Inclined: The Spoken Word and Poetry Club.

🌟At 25 years old, he’s one of the most thoughtful, powerful voices on the poetry scene right now.
