A local favorite, the Morristown and Erie is featured here. The M&E is famous today for its holiday and family train rides in Whippany NJ. But at one time the railroad ran from its interchange with the Erie at Essex Fells to the Lackawanna in Morristown. In recent years the company specializes in terminal and industrial switching. video by Anthony Bonelli

A great drone shot of our Russian decapod hauling down the main line. Locally these engines were owned by the Erie and the Susquehanna.

A Delaware and Hudson challenger coasts down grade with its train on the O scale layout at NYSME. The engines is a model built by Sunset Models 3rd Rail

A Russian Decapod pulls a short freight around the O scale layout. 200 of these locomotives were built for Russia but were never shipped because the Communist Revolution of 1917. The engines were then converted to standard gauge and sold to American railroads like the Erie, Missouri Pacific, Frisco, and Seaboard. The engine is a brass model by Sunset Models
