Sonoran Arts League The Sonoran Arts League is a non-profit 501(c)(3), arts service organization dedicated to actively advancing art, artists, and art education.

Led by staff and volunteer-based organization located in Cave Creek and Carefree, Arizona, just north of Phoenix. Sonoran Arts League is a vibrant nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting visual arts, artists, and art education. Founded in 1975 by local artists in Cave Creek, we’ve grown into a creative community of 500+ members serving the Desert Foothills area. Our Gallery in Carefree feature

s rotating juried exhibitions and festive Third Thursday Art Night receptions, while our Studio in Cave Creek offers workshops, classes, and open studios in a wide range of media for adults, youth, and veterans—taught by professional League artists. We proudly host signature programs like Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour, Empty Bowls, Youth & College Scholarships, Art in Public Places, Veterans Art Programs, and year-round community workshops. Calling all Sonoran Arts League member artists: our next Gallery show, The Artistic Kaleidoscope: A Symphony of Color, is open for entries.

This one’s about what color can do, energize a room, shift a mood, change how you see something entirely. Bring your boldest palette, whatever medium you work in.

Members only, $40 for up to 3 pieces (up to 10 for jewelry). Submit through ShowSubmit, link in bio, entries close September 11 at midnight. The show runs October 2 through December 3 at the Gallery in Carefree.

Mark your calendars, this one’s a big one. Hidden In The Hills turns 30 this year, and we’re celebrating with two full weekends of open studios across Cave Creek, North Scottsdale and Carefree, Arizona.

November 20–22 and 27–29, walk right into the real working studios of local artists, meet the people behind the art work, and take home something nobody else will ever have.

We're hiring a Gallery Coordinator for our Easy Street Gallery in Carefree, Arizona.

This role supports the daily operations of the Gallery, including:
— Welcoming visitors and facilitating art sales
— Communicating with artists about rotating exhibitions and installations
— Assisting with opening receptions and gallery events
— Managing exhibition submissions and Call for Art announcements
— Maintaining an organized, professional gallery environment

Schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11am–6pm, with some flexibility, and occasional evenings for openings and receptions.

We're looking for someone with an interest or background in visual arts or gallery environments, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Graphic design skills are a plus.
