🌸The staff and volunteers at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum are proud to celebrate all moms at the Mothers’ Day Special & Vendor Festival, held on the Saturday only of Mother’s Day weekend. Plan to spend the day with us, enjoying a relaxing train ride, yard games, food and treat trucks and more!

🌸As a gift for mom, her ticket is only $5 with the purchase of one or more regular-priced coach ticket. Her ticket also comes with a special token of appreciation and admiration from our team at the will call window. (Discounted tickets not applicable to caboose or locomotive tickets.)

🌸The train ride lasts approximately 75 minutes, so you can enjoy quality time with mama, grandma and the whole family!

Looking for a unique Saturday activity? Visit Ozan Winery and ride the train with us!

Starting March 14th in Alabama, you can ride the “Ozan Wine Train” that combines a relaxing train ride aboard the Calera & Shelby train with wine tasting and food at the beautiful Ozan Winery & Distillery! This fun experience takes place at Ozan Vineyard & Cellars in Calera, AL...where guests check in, enjoy a welcome drink, and take a short vineyard tour before heading trackside to watch the historic train arrive to pick you up. You then board one of the restored coaches or open-air cars for a scenic ride through the countryside before returning to the winery. After the ride, the real tasting begins with a tableside sampling of several Ozan wines served in a keepsake glass along with cheese plates or brunch foods. Options include the Morning Wine Brunch Train with pastries and brunch tasting or the Trackside Train with wine, cheese, and optional lunch. These unique Saturday events run through October and are reserved by table through Ozan Winery. Tickets can be purchased via the Ozan Winery site!
