**MEET LEAFY**
Our 1958 Edsel Ranger two door sedan. The only car in Hanks Garage that has a name. My wife Debbie, named Leafy after the original owner of this car. Leafy Palmer, was the first owner of this Edsel, and that is very significant. It's one of the truly neat Edsel stories on display in Hanks Garage. This car has had three lives during it's 68 year history and you can hear all about all of them, on your America 250-Ohio Trails and Tails tour this summer. *THERE ARE SECRETS IN HANKS GARAGE*
Top photo shows a 1958 Edsel Dealer Promo in 1/24 scale. On the bottom is a slogan. However that's not the secret. The card board box in the second picture holds a secret. The box is the last known box of it's kind with it's cargo. Unopened for 69 years, that's right 69 years. *ON DISPLAY @ HANKS GARAGE THE ULTRA RARE EDSEL YOUNGSTAR*
One of a handful is this 1/4 scale Edsel by the Donnelson Corporation made for the Ford Motor Company. It was called the Edsel Youngstar. Originally turquoise and white and restored by Jeff Blose to match my full size Edsel Pacer convertible. As few as a dozen were produced and of course there is a story to here, this summer on The America 250-Ohio trails and tale's tour. We have so much to show you. Won't you come visit us. *WOULD YOU BELIEVE WE DIDN'T PAINT A THING!*
Our 1958 Edsel Bermuda wagon was left abandoned in a New England warehouse and vandalized. Almost every window broken out and garbage stored inside it but, this car still wears it's original paint and all original upholstery. *COLUMBUS COUPLE FIRST AMERICA 250-OHIO VISITORS*
Hope and Mark of Columbus learned of Hanks Garage on the America 250-Ohio TRAILS AND TAILS SITE and knew they had to visit. They travel the Country visiting automobile museums and just added the Worlds Largest Running, Driving Edsel collection under one roof, to their resume. They have visited the The Peterson Museum in California, members of The AACA and are frequently seen at The Henry Ford Museum and the Gilmore Museum in Michigan and trips to Auburn and The Auburn Cord Museum in Indiana.
