🎉 What an incredible day at the Bucyrus Copper Kettle!

We had the pleasure of welcoming over 90 energetic 3rd graders from Wynford Schools — Wynford Royals! — on a special field trip. The students visited the Bucyrus Copper Kettle Museum, the Bucyrus Historical Society , and the Bucyrus Public Library.

These kids were fantastic! They were attentive and asked some thoughtful questions. You could see the excitement as they learned about our local history.

A huge THANK YOU to all the teachers and chaperones who kept the group organized and on schedule — you made the day run smoothly and helped make it a success!

They came, they saw, they learned… and our mission was fully achieved:
To preserve, promote, and educate the public about the historical significance, artistry, and innovation of copper kettle manufacturing.

These outstanding students stopped by the Copper Kettle for a tour. It was great seeing such polite and engaged young leaders representing their school and FFA chapter so well.

We had the pleasure of hosting a group of 25 members from the Ohio R.G. 141 Early Ford V-8 Club for a private tour today. These car enthusiasts brought energy and great questions — we loved sharing the history and craftsmanship of our copper kettles with them!

Exciting Progress on Our Historic Building Preservation Project! ✨

The next phase of our building restoration is well underway!

A big thank you to the talented team at Richland Renovations for their work this week on the siding painting and trim work. They're paying careful attention to every detail to ensure everything stays as historically accurate as possible — just the way our beautiful old building deserves.

🛠️ The Bucyrus Copper Kettle is getting a little love! ❤️

You may have noticed some activity around the old girl the past couple of days. We're excited to share that she's getting a few brand new windows as part of our ongoing restoration and preservation efforts!

Huge thanks to the crew at The Andersons for doing an outstanding job matching the new windows as closely as possible to historical accuracy. They nailed it!

Stay tuned — next up is a fresh coat of paint to bring her back to her glory.

The Bucyrus Copper Kettle has stood the test of time, and we're proud to keep her looking her best for many more years to come!
