✨ Last Sunday was truly one for the books! ✨

We had the honor of hosting the incredibly talented Karla Gudeon Art & Design as part of our Women in Art series, and she absolutely wowed us.

Karla brought her signature pieces, along with a few special surprises that had guests stopping in their tracks. The energy at Kolbo was incredible all day long as visitors met Karla, learned about her creative process, and had the opportunity to take home artwork straight from the artist herself.

And the sweetest moment of all? A huge mazal tov to the wonderful couple who selected their ketubah and had the chance to meet Karla and make this meaningful piece part of their story. 💕

Thank you, , for sharing your art, your talent, and your energy with our community.

This is exactly what our Women in Art series is all about: celebrating extraordinary creators and creating opportunities for genuine connection.

✨ Stay tuned… we’re just getting started. ✨

On June 7, we had the honor of launching our Women in the Arts series—a celebration of the remarkable women shaping the art world. Through this series, we invite artists to share their stories, connect with our community, and showcase their work here at Kolbo.

For our inaugural event, we were thrilled to welcome Nancy Schön, the celebrated Boston sculptor whose iconic works have become beloved landmarks throughout the city and beyond. From Make Way for Ducklings in the Boston Public Garden to her many public sculptures across Greater Boston, Nancy’s work has touched generations. It was a privilege to hear her story and experience her artistry up close, and we were delighted to see our gallery filled with so many members of our community.

At Kolbo, the relationships we build with the artists we represent are at the heart of what we do. A special thank you to our owners, Larry and Janet, and to our art buyer, Dana, whose vision and dedication made this series possible.

This is only the beginning. Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate inspiring women in the arts and bring more extraordinary voices to our gallery.

We need to talk about dad jokes.

We took some of our favorite Father’s Day gifts and turned them into the worst jokes you will hear all week. A shofar, a tallit, and a mug talk in a Judaica gallery in Brookline. Sound familiar?

Whether your dad groans at every punchline or delivers them at the dinner table every Friday night, we have something for him at Kolbo. Meaningful gifts, unique finds, and yes, a few things that will make him laugh.

Stop by the store at 437 Harvard St in Brookline or shop online at kolbo.com. Father’s Day is June 21st and we are ready for you.

Tag a dad who thinks he is funnier than this. He is not.

Some think pride comes once a year. We beg to differ.

At Kolbo we have always believed that every person deserves a place to find something that feels like theirs. Whether you are setting your Shabbat table, finding a tallit that feels like you, standing under the chuppah with the love of your life, or putting a mezuzah on the door of a home that is finally yours, we are here for every single one of those moments.

Not just in June. Every day of the week, every month of the year.

This Pride Month we just want to say out loud what we have always felt: you are welcome here. All of you. Always.

Come visit us at 437 Harvard St in Brookline or shop at kolbo.com

Happy Pride Month from all of us at Kolbo.
