Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center is a hands-on, interactive Early Learning School with a full day, full year NAEYC accredited infant toddler mixed age program and School Readiness, NAEYC accredited, Reggio-Emilia Inspired Preschool Program. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation and a division of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol. Imagine Nation has re-imagined how we work with children in our Museum Studios. We now offer intentional facilitator led experiences rather than self-exploration within the museum. This provides the opportunity to expand educational experiences and create meaningful family engagement. Our new programming includes a variety of workshops as well as community outreach, field trips, birthday parties, and family event opportunities.

🌎✈️ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center!

Classroom 2B invited our preschool classrooms on an imaginary journey through Central America, exploring El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Panama through art, music, food, and hands-on learning!

From recreating a volcano eruption and making colorful bird artwork to tasting traditional dishes and dancing to marimba music, our children had so many fun opportunities to explore Hispanic cultures together.

Thank you to Mrs. Rivera, guest Mrs. Gonzalez, Mr. Sierra, and our educators for bringing these experiences to life! ❤️

Thursday, October 22 | 4-5:30 PM
Bring a bag of candy for FREE admission! Enjoy Halloween treats and meet Molly the Fire Dog with the Bristol Fire Department!

👻 SPOOKY BLAST
Friday, October 30 | 6:30-8:30 PM
Haunted maze, carnival games, food, cotton candy, and a costume contest!
$10 per person | $5 for members
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

🐷💋 A few kisses and a RECORD-BREAKING morning!

Today’s Kiss-A-Pig event at the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol raised the largest fundraising total in the event’s history!

A HUGE thank you to all of our contestants and reigning champion Jay Porrini for defending his title for all their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to pucker up for Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center! Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered them on. ❤️

Special thanks to Scot Haney from Channel 3 WFSB for being our MC and keeping the fun going all morning! 🐽

A little fall sunshine for this rainy day! 🍂🎃

Wednesday’s Harvest Day brought our Early Learning School children outside for pumpkin decorating, hayrides, story time, and apple c***r with donuts!

A big thank you to the Bristol Garden Club for pumpkin decorating, Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut for hayrides, Stew Leonard’s for apple c***r, and Sarah Ayotte from the Bristol Public Library’s Children’s Department for story time.

Beautiful weather, happy kids, and plenty of fall fun at Imagine Nation! 🧡

A reminder for our Imagine Nation families and visitors: both the Museum and Early Learning School will be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

This day offers an opportunity to spark curiosity, share stories, and help children learn about the cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples.

Little hands making a difference for our neighbors! 🥕💚

As part of our Hands Up for Kindness program, our children worked with Chef Natassia to cut carrots and celery during their culinary arts classes. They packed the veggies, dip, and a cheese stick into snack bags to donate to our neighbors at Agape House, a resource for people experiencing homelessness in Bristol.

We’re proud to see our children learning that even small acts of kindness can help others!

Thank you to The Broad View Fund at the Main Street Community Foundation for partnering with Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center on Hands Up for Kindness!

Both the Museum and Early Learning School will observe a half day on Friday, October 9, closing at 12:30 PM for all-staff training.

We will also be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
