Beth Galton's "Cut Food" opens September 4 in the Community Gallery.

"Cut Food" provides a different way of understanding food. Photographer Beth Galton works with food stylists to demonstrate a playful new way to look at the food we eat.

Stop by during Downtown Boone's First Friday Art Crawl! Be sure to grab complimentary hors d'oeuvres along the way, as viewing this exhibition is bound to work up an appetite. 😋

Arts Corridor 2026-2028 at is officially installed thanks to our amazing exhibitions team!

The Arts Corridor acts as a path connecting the Turchin Center to the other arts venues and academic buildings on campus.

Come take a stroll or take a seat, as this years sculptures include smaller scale, functional pieces in addition to abstract, monumental works.

Unleash your young artist's creativity this fall! 🎨

Blazing Easels is a 9-week hands-on art workshop series designed for kids ages 7–12 (grades 2–6)! Guided by App State Student Art Instructors, participants will explore gallery exhibitions for inspiration and experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, fiber arts, photography, and collage. SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration is open until filled.

$40 total for all 9 sessions (All materials supplied!)

It was a pleasure having Jody and JoAnne Silverstein visit us at TCVA last month. 🥰

The Tina Silverstein Opportunity Fund supports our student docent program and powers creative community favorites like Drop-In Artmaking and Paint Night.

Established by Tina’s family in honor of her lifelong love for the arts, this fund creates paid, pre-professional opportunities for App State students while keeping engaging arts programming accessible to our whole community.

The Turchin Center is proud to welcome students back to campus for the upcoming semester. 📚✏️

We are joining up with campus activities to offer a variety of ways to ease into campus life. After you are settled into your space, please stop by, ride the elevator and pick up a Turchin essential room decor kit! We are also offering self-guided tours of our outdoor sculpture walks through the Bloomberg Connects app, check the Engage page for more information!
