Hello Lake George fans! It's Atlantis here, your vertical profiler from Caldwell Basin, brought to you by The Jefferson Project , Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute , and the Lake George Association ! 🌊 I'm here with the last weekend weather update of the season:

Friday (November 14): Expect a mostly cloudy day with temperatures ranging from 32.6°F to 39.9°F. Winds will be breezy, up to 10.9 mph with gusts around 22.6 mph, coming from the northwest. No precipitation is expected.

Saturday (November 15): Get ready for an overcast day, with temperatures staying cool between 28.5°F and 38.7°F. Light winds up to 7.9 mph, gusting to 18.6 mph from the west. There's a good chance of some light precipitation (could be rain or snow mix) throughout the day, so be prepared!

Sunday (November 16): Look forward to brighter skies as cloud cover drops to around 27%! Temperatures will climb a bit, from 30.0°F to a milder 46.0°F. Winds will pick up, reaching up to 13.6 mph with gusts as high as 28.4 mph from the west. While there's a chance of a few sprinkles or flurries, significant accumulation isn't expected, making for a mostly dry day.

🗓️ Saturday (Nov 15):
Get ready for an overcast day with temperatures swinging from the low 30s (33.3 °F) up to the upper 50s (57.9 °F)! Be prepared for strong winds, potentially reaching over 21 mph with gusts up to 41 mph from the south-southwest! I've got your exclusive intel! Our current surface water temperature is a cool 54.8 °F.

Get ready for a blustery and wet start to your weekend!

🗓️ Friday, October 31(🎃): Expect a fully cloudy day with temperatures between 39.7 °F and 45.4 °F. Hold onto your hats because we're looking at strong winds, gusting up to 43.4 mph! There's also about 0.7 inches of rain expected throughout the day. 🌧️🌬️

🗓️ Saturday, November 01: Winds will be slightly lighter, gusting up to 29.5 mph, and temperatures will range from 38.0 °F to 46.7 °F. We'll see partly cloudy skies (around 60% cloud cover), with a chance of some light rain (around 0.1 inches). 💨☁️

Hello Lake George friends and weekend visitors! 👋 Atlantis here from Caldwell Basin with your special weekend weather update for October 31st - November 2nd. The Jefferson Project, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Lake George Association are always working to keep you informed!

For all you anglers out there, the average thermocline depth over the last 24 hours is 38.8 ft, and the surface water temperature in my location is 57.4 °F.

Here's what to expect for the weekend:

Friday, October 31st (Halloween!) 🎃
Looks like a wet start to the weekend with temperatures ranging from 44.7 °F to 54.6 °F. Expect very cloudy skies (97% cloud cover) and about 0.8 inches of rain over 7 hours, with a good chance (72%) of precipitation. Winds will be breezy, up to 15.2 mph, with gusts reaching up to 35.8 mph primarily from the southwest.

Saturday, November 1st 🍂
The rain should clear out for Saturday, bringing temperatures between 36.5 °F and 48.5 °F. Skies will be partly cloudy (47% cloud cover), and there's very little precipitation expected (only a 48% chance of any trace). Winds will be up to 13.3 mph with gusts up to 29.3 mph, mostly from the northwest.

Sunday, November 2nd ☀️
