BCGC needs to empty out our furnace to shut it off for the summer, and we need your help! Join us this July 1st and 2nd for our Sandcasting workshops!!

In this family-friendly, 30-minute workshop, participants will create an impression in damp sand, and then our team of glass artists will ladle molten glass directly into the depression. Once the glass has cooled to 1000 degrees we will dig the glass out of the sand and put it in a kiln to cool slowly over three days. Come make a glass cast of your handprints, your favorite dinosaur, your initials - whatever you can 'carve' in sand, we'll add glass to!

5 slots will be available every 30 minutes. You may sign up for as many slots as you want, and we will ladle until the glass runs out! Each slot creates 1 sandcasted project. Slots are $45 each.

Camp is just around the corner! If you have projects to pick up or are in a stained glass class keep in mind camp impacts our hours! There is no open studio during camp but you can still pick up your past projects!

Camp is July 6th - 17th. Projects can ve picked up Monday through Thursday 10 am - 4 pm

What's that?! Another fun way to work with glass?! That's right! At the recent Glass Art Society annual conference, Abby, Edwin and some other glass friends got to see the Wazer Water Jet Cutter in action and thought it would be a great fit for BCGC. Edwin and Courtney started getting it set up this weekend. We still have to do a few things to get it fully installed, but we can't wait to start using it!

TODAY UNTIL 3 PM! 🌞😎 Middle Way House is hosting another Fusing Fest Fundraiser with us on Saturday June 13th! Come make cool suncatchers while supporting a good cause!

Suncatchers are $25 each with a portion going to Middle Way House. No prior registration necessary- just walk in between 11 am - 3 pm to make your very own fused glass suncatcher!

No experience necessary. Ages 5+ Suncatchers will be ready for pick up starting the following Wednesday (6/17)
