Rackliffe House

Rackliffe House Berlin and Assateague Island’s hidden gem! Rackliffe House is restored to its 18th-Century glory.

Our teaching garden got a big boost today thanks to Davey’s Natives, who spent the morning carefully weeding our garden paths. We are grateful they’ll be returning soon to finish weeding the raised beds as the garden continues to grow. Their knowledge of native plants is helping this space thrive.
You’ll be able to explore their incredible plant selection at the Colonial Harvest Festival, where they’ll be sharing native species perfect for local gardens.
Rackliffe House is open today from 1–4 — come enjoy the newly tended garden.

Last Friday’s movie on the grounds was one to remember. Thank you to everyone who gathered with us to watch Liberty of Conscience: The Founding of Maryland under the summer sky.
We’re especially grateful to the Community Players of Salisbury for the AV equipment, Bates Memorial United Methodist Church for the screen, and Pastor Brown for bringing it all together. Rackliffe House thrives because of neighbors like you.
